Synergy Behind the Scenes
“All work and no play…” you know how the old saying goes. At Synergy, we hold a true passion for our work, and for our play. Many of us live and work in the Vail Valley, an area of the Colorado Rocky Mountains lending itself to an outdoor active lifestyle – winter and summer. When we’re not “Synergizing” our next big concept, you can find us enjoying nature’s playground.
How it all began…by Daren Cole, Founder
The Team Synergy concept got its start three years ago when I was diagnosed with Graves Disease. During the subsequent months I lost a much of my muscle mass and pretty much hit rock bottom in terms of fitness. At that time, a good friend stepped in and challenged me to gather a team for the 24 Hours of Moab mountain bike race. From there our “team” has gone on to complete in a number of other 24-Hour races, 12-Hour races and a Century or two along the way.
In a number of ways Team Synergy has, quite literally, helped me turn my life and health around. What lies ahead? It all boils down to providing a foundation of support allowing people to foster their passions with a network of like-minded crazies!
